We’re absolutely passionate about brewing the best, most flavoursome beer Organically.

For us, Organic certification is not a gimmick in order to charge higher prices, but at the same time it’s also not a religion. There is a place somewhere in between the two extremes for practical people with integrity.

We’re certain that all brewers continued to use chemically grown ingredients in their beverages, that the soil, soil organisms and environment would be negatively impacted (not to mention the effect of these chemicals on the people drinking these beverages).

mike’s beers are all certified organic, using BioGro for this certification, the emblem and registration number displayed, will be found on all our products. This is your assurance that the stingent Organic standards and auditing procedures have been met and do comply. BioGro is the only New Zealand certifier that is accredited with IFOAM, who are internationally recognised and respected as setting the benchmark for organic standards.

mike’s beers are also GE free and suitable for Kosher, Vegetarian and Vegan diets.
